What is the Gauge ? (गेज क्या है?) 

 गेज एक ऐसा मापक यन्त्र है जिसके द्वारा हम पार्ट के साइज को मापकर तथा तुलना करके, मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग (Manufacturing) के समय या बाद में कन्ट्रोल (Control) करते हैं, जिससे कि उसकी इन्टरचेन्जेबिलिटं (Interchangeability) सुनिश्चित की जा सके।

Gauge is a device which is used for measuring and comparing a job to control the size during or after the process of manufacturing in order establish the interchangeability.
